· How do I initiate a return or exchange?
To start the return or exchange process, please email us at support@thebrummell.comwithin 7 days of delivery. Include your order ID, contact information, and a brief explanation for the return or exchange (wrong product or size issue).
If the product has a manufacturing defect, you can request a return within 15 days of delivery.
· When will my items be picked up for return or exchange?
Our logistics partner will attempt to collect the return within 2–3 business days of your request.
If pickup fails after three attempts, you may be required to self-ship the items for your refund or exchange to be processed.
Your courier cost should not exceed INR 300.
The customer has to self-ship the product if the pincode is out of the serviceable area for reverse logistics.
(Note: We request you to self-ship the product using Speed Post as the courier service.)
Do not hand over the product without a pickup slip or SMS confirmation.
· How long does the inspection and refund process take?
Once the returned items reach our warehouse, it typically takes 3–4 business days to inspect and verify their condition. If approved, we will initiate the refund or exchange.
· What are my responsibilities for the return package?
Please ensure the product is unused and returned in its original packaging, including all tags, labels, and accessories.
· How soon will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 6–7 business days, with a ₹149/- deduction for shipping and operational charges.
· What happens if my item fails the quality check?
If the returned item does not meet our quality standards, it will be sent back to you, and a ₹149/- shipping charge will apply. Please ensure labels and tags remain intact.
· What should I do if I receive the wrong product?
Email us support@thebrummell.com within 7 days of delivery, including clear photos or an unboxing video to support your claim. We will arrange a pickup at no additional charge.
· What should I do if I receive damaged or defective items?
Although our products undergo strict quality checks, transit-related damage or manufacturing defects may occur.
– For transit damage or wrong items, please raise a request within 7 days of delivery.
– For manufacturing defects, returns are accepted up to 30 days from delivery.
Refunds or replacements for damaged or defective items will include a ₹149/- logistics charge.
· Are there any products not eligible for refunds?
Currently, all products are eligible for returns. However, items purchased during sale are non-returnable. This policy may change as new categories are added.
· When does the refund initiation timeline begin?
Refunds are initiated within 7–8 business days of receiving and successfully inspecting the returned items.
· How long does it take for the refund to reflect in my account?
Refunds typically reflect within 4–8 business days after initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider.
· What is the mode of refund?
All refunds are processed to the original payment method (online banking, credit/debit card, etc.).
· What if I paid via Cash on Delivery (COD)?
All COD orders will be refunded via store voucher with a validity of 6 months, as payouts are currently on hold in compliance with RBI guidelines.
· What should I do if I haven’t received my refund yet?
If you haven’t received your refund within the expected timeline, please contact your bank with the provided Refund ID and RRN (Refund Reference Number) to initiate a query or dispute.
EXCHANGE –
· exchange wont applicable on orders purchased during sale.
· Only one exchange is allowed per order.
· There is no additional charge for exchange orders.
· Size exchange is subject to availability.
· Please share the package unboxing video for wrong product received.
